The professional kitchen is fully equipped for group cooking with everything you need to prepare meals for up to 22 people; an impressive island doubles as an American-style breakfast bar and a 14-seater kitchen dining table sits beside a wall of windows leading out to the patio, where additional outdoor dining is available.

Ocean View has six bedrooms across two floors, with three bedrooms on the ground floor, making it one of the most accessible large holiday homes in Ireland for multigenerational groups, guests with limited mobility, grandparents, or parents with young children who prefer to avoid stairs.

The wraparound patio and lawned garden at Ocean View is one of its most loved features and it’s easy to see why. Enclosed and private, it’s a space where adults can relax completely while children run freely.
The gazebo seats 10 guests and is fitted with lighting for late evening dining under the stars. It’s become a firm favourite for birthday dinners, hen party evenings and anniversary celebrations; sheltered enough to use year-round, atmospheric enough to feel special every time.
For guests who want a little friendly competition, the nine-hole pitch and putt is a brilliant way to spend a morning, and the cabin houses a football table and table tennis for evening entertainment.

Children are brilliantly catered for with a climbing frame, sunken trampoline and a wooden pirate ship that younger guests absolutely love. There’s also a secret attic playroom accessed via outdoor stairs, complete with toys, a TV and oversized floor cushions; a hidden gem for your children to discover with delight on arrival.

Yet despite its peaceful, private setting, Kinsale town is just 10 minutes away by car. Garretstown Beach, one of the finest beaches in Cork, is an 8-minute drive. The Speckled Door pub is a 5-minute drive or a short walk across the beach.
Cork city is 30 minutes away, Cork Airport is 35 minutes, and Dublin is approximately 2.5 hours — making Ocean View genuinely accessible for groups travelling from different locations across Ireland, the UK or further afield.
